Olivia + Nathan: An Eiteljorg Wedding
All week long the forecast called for rain on Olivia and Nathan’s wedding day, but it was if Olivia’s sunny disposition wills everything to work out right. I’m telling you, I’ve had a lot of uplifting happy brides, but Olivia was the most JOYFUL bride I’ve ever met. With her signature nose crinkle that gives her away when she’s really happy, Olivia bounded around all day jumping (literally) for joy at the fact that she and Nathan FINALLY got married!
Olivia grew up moving around a bunch with her family, and because of that, they were a super tight nit group (although her sisters told some hilarious stories of times when they were perhaps not the kindest to Olivia growing up). They literally start every meal off by holding hands and singing a song, and they were a hoot to be around all day long.
Nathan completes her perfectly. Equally as sunny and happy just to be with her, they exchanged funny glances and kept talking about how happy they were to finally be married.
Their ceremony and reception was at the lovely Eiteljorg Museum of Indianapolis, which hosted their beautiful outdoor ceremony. Short and sweet, they kissed and ran down the aisle into their future.
The reception was a blast. There were multiple swing dancing songs, in which several of their guests were proficient in dancing, and they just never stopped dancing. It was so contagious that I had to get out there and bust a move myself!!
My favorite moment of the day was when Olivia and her dad were having their daddy-daughter dance. They gave each other a meaningful look, scooted over to her mother, and invited her to dance with them. All parties were crying (myself included) and then after an emotional moment or two, they all busted a silly move and got down on the dance floor. I laughed, I cried. It was just all the positive emotions with this family, and it perfectly encapsulated what a wedding is supposed to be about- all the happy memories and just cutting back and having fun with the people you love.
It was great to be a part of Olivia and Nathan’s big day! A special thanks to the wonderful team that made this day possible:
