Travis and Courtney: The Eiteljorg Museum
"A few weeks ago I, jumped out of a plane. My friends took me skydiving and when I jumped it was a HUGE rush. However, the rush I felt jumping out of an airplane doesn't compare to the rush I felt today when I married Courtney."
Those sweet words came from Travis as he and Courtney addressed their guests at their reception, bringing forth a round of "AWWWW's" from the crowd. It was a beautiful and sweet speech, full of passion and excitement. This level of joy and excitement had been evident from them the whole day.
Travis and Courtney got ready at the Westin in Indianapolis. It was evident that they were both very thoughtful and detailed as they had gone out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and had very significant gifts for their bridal party, including new watches for the groomsmen! The morning was very chill and fun, my favorite moments including Courtney dancing as she got ready and picking out the jewelry she was going to wear with her mom.
After getting ready we traveled to the Eiteljorg museum, which was their wedding venue. After a while it was time for the first look. I love first looks generally, but their reactions are probably my favorite so far! They both cried because they were genuinely so excited to be together and to finally get married. After the first look we did all the photos ahead of time traveling up and down the white river, the Eiteljorg property, and downtown Indianapolis.
After all the photos were done the ceremony started. It was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was outside on the Eiteljorg grounds. It was a circular garden which wrapped around with greens and trees. It was stunning.
Courtney positively beamed as she walked down the aisle. Her laugh and joy was infectious as they said their vows and promised to love each other forever. What was very telling of Courtney and Travis as a couple is how sincerely they greeted all their guests. It was evident that they were genuinely happy that everyone was there as they took their time welcoming everyone following the ceremony.
The reception was so much fun! The food was delicious and the toasts were very heartfelt! Best of all, Courtney and Travis had taken dance lessons and surpsied everyone with a beuatiful ballroom dance, complete with dips!
After that they party was crazy! Courtney and Travis's friends know how to have a good time. They danced through the night, sang along to songs, and were just so fun! We ended the night iwth a sparkler exit, which was a perfect way to cap off a perfect day!
Courtney and Travis, your wedding was beautiful and I loved every part of it. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a perfect day!
